As of March we are all feeling the impact of the necessary restrictions on our movement and social interactions. Sadly North Light Arts can no longer meet with you face to face through our many creative activities. However the Pavilion and the Rainbow Garden are lovingly being taken care of by the Ridge, who are also making essential use of the Pavilion for the community.
Our plans for this year are to develop an on-line version of our June exhibition at the Town House especially since it is a special anniversary for North Light Arts – which have regularly developed exciting environmental initiatives for artists and communities.
Some of you will know that this year is ten years since we literally knitted Dunbar Harbour as part of the year long project ‘Taking A Line’ curated by Susie Goodwin. Later exhibited at John Muir’s Birthplace and the Peter Potter Gallery, the successes of this project inspired the start of North Light Arts and led to many more collaborations.
Keep and eye out for further up-dates and our celebrations here and on social media later in the year.
