Natalie Taylor working on a piece for her exhibition which opens on the 4th June at the Dunbar Townhouse Gallery, Dunbar High Street.

Natalie has been working with local people since last Autumn to shed light on a substance most take for granted. She started with research using microscopes at the ASCUS laboratory to study and photograph soil organisms from collected soil samples, going on to create paint with the soils and using soil images to inspire her work.  Natalie presents her art alongside some collaborative pieces made with the community, all exploring the role soil plays in our quest to rebalance the planet.
