Celebration of the Sea

1pm Monday 21st April,
North Berwick Skiff Rowing Teams will leave Dunbar Harbour to accompany the walkers leaving Dunbar to walk the John Muir Way.

1.30 – 3pm, Monday 21 April
Venue – Quayside, Victoria Harbour, Dunbar.
Fun family friendly workshops led by musicians Mel Watkinson and Stuart Dinwoodie. Mel will work with people to create wonderful sea dragon musical instruments from beachcombed materials. Stuart will lead a fun family friendly music and dance workshop with his Africian drummers and dancers. Free.

Dragon Boat Ceremony
2.30pm, Monday 21 April
Venue – Quayside, Victoria Harbour, Dunbar.
Join us to celebrate with local musicians, dancers and poets in a spectacular ceremony to send off the Dragon Boat. The Port Edgar Dragon
Boat will give a paddling demonsration and perform a traditional “dotting of the eyes” and “flower ceremony”.
